This museum's permanent collection includes paintings by Arpad Szenes (1897-1985) and Maria Helena Vieira da Silva (1908-1992) brought together in the building of a former silk factory founded in 1734. The museum also shows temporary exhibitions of artists who shared affinities with those painters or who were their contemporaries.
